Tessera

Located in Dubai South, Tessera brings the intimacy of townhouse living into a low-density collective setting. Inspired by the art of the mosaic, its floating architecture is composed of light, transparency and carefully framed voids, creating a sense of openness while preserving privacy. Designed by Lisbon-based Aires Mateus, the project reflects a disciplined architectural language shaped by material, proportion and the passage of time.

Landscaped pathways form a green spine through the community, connecting wellness spaces, lounges, garden dining, children’s areas and an outdoor cinema. Residents can also enjoy a fully equipped indoor and outdoor gym, a yoga and meditation studio, and a rooftop pool surrounded by greenery.

The residences include two-bedroom-plus and three-bedroom-plus layouts, offered as expansive lateral homes or light-filled duplexes. Adaptable additional suites can serve as a study, children’s room or maid’s suite, allowing each home to evolve with the needs of its residents.
